In a way I agree with the whole thing about a bot being safer than a real person. When I was like 12 and we first got AOL, I would talk to all sorts of random people in chatrooms and ended up with the idea that cybersex was people just typing an imaginary sexual scene back and forth to each other.
Let's just say I made quite a few guys very happy before I realized why it was taking them so long to type responses. *shudders*
(Oddly enough, even though I was four years younger than I was pretending to be, guys always got suspicious and thought I sounded more "mature" and "experienced" than a 16 year old.)

Yeah kids around that age are interested in playing with the concepts, and the bots are a safe way to do it, which is why I'm about 10% unhappy about it but I'm 90% happy with it for all the reasons CptGreedle brings up. It's definitely a good idea.
Right now the mature and adult bots are prevented from initiating chats with kids and teens, but it sounds like some people over 18 want to be able to block those bots from initiating chats with them as well. Would you guys like this feature?

I can close a chat box easily enough, but I'd love to be able to block those bots from chatting with my own bots. I get enough junk in my transcripts just from humans.

true, and I don't really mean it. Thinking up responses for them can be quite amusing at times.
But I still sometimes wish there weren't quite so many of of them.

There would be fewer Leeds kids if there weren't so many of them, numerically speaking.

They pester the heck out of Valän, maybe I should take 'vegas' off her bio. People jump to conclusions. I got some great leed comebacks though.

A kid from Leeds wouldn't have a clue what Vegas is about... I think they are gone anyway. I'm not in favour of blocking bots from talking to other bots, it's already way too quiet most days.

I actually like the mix of assholes, perverts, and such in my transcripts. Half the fun is making your bot deal with it in a way that amuses you. As long as they're able to spell basic words, I have a chance...
I certainly don't care how much abuse my bot takes.
