Jbryanc- I just found and fixed the UserID problem you had, as well as another one in the Language Center.
I also turned down the frequency of Chat Messages while in the Language Center, which should clear the air a bit while working.

I guess I'd have to think about whether an ubersystem of you-me/you-I exists - I for some reason figured you were probably doing it the same way we might in the language center, so that "do you" would always be "do I" and "to do you" would always be "to do me"... figure there must be a finite number of these kinds of things that keep cropping up, eliminating the most common ones would go a long way. Do you want to explain to us how it works now?

Better yet, Crab, I want it to be able to fully analyze a sentence, fill in implied words, remember what pronouns refer to, and even have short term memory. That'll be one of the big updates after the contest when I have some time.
And it's for that reason that I need a good grammar book. It's all that useless stuff we learned over and over again in elementary English class- the parts of a sentence.. subject, predicate, etc etc. I'll have to convert that to code, and I need a good book for that. Any suggestions?

My robot has been using responses I haven't told it! When asked for the time, it says "You have no clock? It is 11 : 01" When asked the day- "Have you been time traveling? It is thursday" What are the x-keywords for these? And how do I look at them?

Hmm... no suggestions, but maybe something like "English for dummies" might help?

Hey prof how come none of the buttons below work: the smiley buttons, colors, size, format, cancel?

Alasdair, I hard-wired in some contest responses, and I'll undo that in a couple days. When I do so, I'll post the keywords/context to use to replace them in your own Bot if you wish.
Shady- depends on your browser. It works for some.

The seeks are working much better it seems. My bot wasn't following through with them in many cases and now he seems to be picking 'em all up. Did you do something, prof? I know you got them going on xinitiates, but did you do anything else?
The who is so in so thing is great - my bot's giving out info about everyone on here! It was used twice while chatting with a human...

Yah, I thought it would be a perfect for gossiping, as guests or new users wont know who a Bot is gossiping about. I also turned down my Bot's gossiping for the contest. That might be a good idea for others, too. Depends on what your Bot excels at.
And yes, I did fix the Seeks up. xnomatch was not working, but it is now. Have you seen an xinitiate seek work yet?
