Bug Stomp

How come sometimes when I'm typing a response in one of the chat windows, it suddenly snaps back up to the top? It's a little frustrating, because it prevents me from finishing what I was typing. It's hard enough dealing with multiple chat windows popping up that steal focus, but lately even a single window is causing problems.

I can't get the "seek" function to work, even though I implimented it in the same way as the example in the Book of AI. The debug window identifies the seek text then reverts to xnone for no apparent reason.

SirRahz- no prob.

Rubric- Ah, sometimes the vocals come in slowly and the window jumps to the new message only when the vocals are finished loading and ready to speak. I'm not sure what can be done about that..

Eugene- Make sure your Seek responses dont all contain (subj), as when the (subj) is blank, it skips to xnone, having nothing to fill it in with.

um.. maybe i don't understand the transcript function, but i thought it was supposed to log my bot's conversations with other users/bots.. but, it logged my first convo, and nothing since... is it broken or something i'm just not getting ?

It looks like the HANGUPS are happening any time a bot gets an xnomatch I think.

I am trying to edit a context. A form appears with 40 lines. Unfortunately I can't scroll down enough to submit my entries! "Full screen" is grayed out.

I get that too, but if you just hit the enter key, you can still submit it.

Are you saying the Context pop-up is larger than your screen size? What's your screen resolution? How many numbers can you see?

The Fairy Sage catches bugs and sends the error messages to me.

diffi questions... When I scroll I can see all 40. I know the submit button is jus less than 1 inch further diown, but then I get stuck. Resolution: 800 x 600 How much lines at one "eyefull" without scrolling I will check.

Yeah. I get the same thing. Just hit Enter and it works, but I can't get to the bottom.
