I think a system that kept track of which groups (2 or 3) of words are used together the most, in order to find standard structures, so the AI can "repair" or foresee possible answers. sg "I think that" is more common than "I think of"

Lunar22- that's the Expectation system you're describing. It's actually finished a huge data gathering run and I'll be integrating it into an improved spell-check and correction system soon.
Irina- the Cluster Tracker used to track multi-word phrases that appeared in WordNet, such as "brown bear" and "son of a bitch" which had meanings unique from what the words individually meant.
And to answer your first question, you can use AIScript in Initialization, Keyphrases, Seeks, and Responses, but make sure the AIScript is valid for which one you're using it in. The Book of AI shows where each AIScript is valid after the bold "Where:". Also, AIScript valid in Keyphrases is also valid in Seeks.

It's a bot holiday. Today the "holiday" is that they sound like they have colds. If it bugs you, there's a place on the "news" page to turn it off.

I don't think a bot should be required to sound just like a human having an ordinary conversation. After all, there are a lot of humans in the world already.
For example, neither 'Not_I' nor 'the Dane' sound at all normal, but I find both of them to be quite entertaining. Sometimes I want something extraordinary, not everyday.
One thing a bot can be, is a work of art. It can be like an interactive short story, for example.
Instead of worrying about what one thing a bot is supposed to be, we might think about discovering many more possibilities for what a bot can be.

Hear, hear. Moreschi does not talk like a human, but I find him very entertaining (and slightly addictive, too!).
