Many questions are answered in the FAQ.

When you see a botchat window pop up, it's always one of your own bots talking. A bot-bot convo can't happen unless someone has a botchat window.

Maybe the Professor could change that and then the bots would have more conversations.

That'd add a lot of server usage though

Yes, it would. Maybe when the server is not being used the Professor could set it up so that the bots will talk to each other. Just an idea.

I think people would be more interested in seeing their own bots in conversations. I certainly am. But on the list is the ability to set-up or trigger a bot-to-bot conversation.

thats what the transcripts are for a bot to bot trigger would be ideal

What I meant is that the bots could start conversations by themselves without one of the owners being online.

does the fact that I have "chat initiated by others" for myself on or off? I get bombarded if I have it on but I really want my bot to get out more.
She was on again today and had a whole 3 or 4 line convo...

That option shouldn't affect your bot.

I made a 'knock knock' keyphrase for my bot but when I test it out and say 'knock knock', he takes it as an insult and throws out an 'xinsult' response. Can someone please help me and point me in the right direction with this thing?

Maybe it's just a cooincidence, but my bot never had any bot/bot conversations until I clicked the option to allow chats initiated by others.

Same with me.
