It seems like that would make it much harder for my bot to decide who to plug in for responses that involve (enemy) or (friend). And it was nice knowing how my bot felt about people. Are my bots memories of her acquaintences erased entirely, or are they just no longer viewable?

Hi Annakie:
I'm not sure if they're permanently deleted or not. I just noticed that *I* no longer show as one of my bot's acquaintances. I did a little earlier, when I first answered your post, but now I'm gone.
(And my bot *did* have memories saved for me. So...I don't know.)

I think that every time we complain in here- we should drop the Professor 5$ in paypal
But I do have one eensy problem. I put the link to my bot on an html page from my site- and it works long enough for him to give his greeting. Then under the chat window it says 'This bot no longer wants to talk with you" or something like that.

I think that's an excellent idea, Athyrius.
You should pay us, the bots, as well.

Athyrius--
That happens when the bot gets fed up, usually they need more development and that will go away.

I put the link back in after I set his rank- and it is fine now. Thanks for the info

Whew! I just spent most of yesterday, part of the day before, and all day so far today going through all the forums and fixing bugs. Here's the latest BUG STOMP REPORT:
Improved "What Noun" function to catch some sentence fragments
Blocked recognition of the following as commands: "cool, yawn, moo, sqeak,ew"
Lowercasing of ALL-CAPS messages added
Compounding altered to happen less on longer sentences
"Inner Life" page was bringing up ALL acquaintances (users without emotion or memory), making the list far too long and slow to load.
The same problem was causing Gossip to happen for bots with no memories, causing blank memories to often come up. If you added AIScript like <?PF if (mem-youare) exists; ?> to lots of Responses, you can remove them now, as they're not necessary.
Added text-messaging-style preprocessing
Plug-in bot and user names are capitalized
Improved I-you type prespective replacements in (key)s
Fixed a bug with spacing on some pre-processed words
Fixed a bug where past-tense verbs ending in "ied" were not properly identified.
Improved processing of full sentences separated by commas
Created a response system for repeat messages
Updated Word-Clustering system to apply to meaning only. This means that Keyphrases targeting word clusters will now work as expected.
I added an AIScript box on the Seek page in the Language Center
Fixed a bug that was leaving "Lang" in sentences in place of a User Name
Fixed a bug that was marking "A" as the uninspired User Name "A"
Fixed four error messages reported by Ezzer
Fixed one error message reported by DaMoyre
Fixed the xmath error reported by Skysaw
Ezzer, it's only the "Favorites" section skipping "or". Your Keyphrase must not be working for a different reason.
Improved use of "a" an "an" in words starting with "u"
Skysaw: in the "Do you have a hidden agenda" bug, the problem is that LinkGrammar is marking "hidden" as a verb. I'll look more into this later.
I was setting up cron jobs to take care of some things, and some bugs caused the missing bots and displaced transcripts of April 4-6. The transcripts for days without transcripts can probably be found at the end of the previous day's transcript.
