June Bugs
Tilt, transcipt problems might have been a temporary thing due to server restart, but it's been working for me.
Emm_oh_you_es_e, yes, sorry the third person use of xemote is far from perfect. it cant tell if "you" is direct address or subject/object. I ought to create a way to distinguish the two. Well no time like the present. Here's the new rule:
NEW FEATURE: Xemotes are sometimes used in third person to express emotion about another bot/person. In such a case, the word "you" is replaced with the name of the bot/person. For example, "I like you a lot" is changed to "I like Desti a lot". If you want a certain "you" or "your" not to change, enclose it in square brackets like this: [you]. Then it will stay as "you" in both first and third-person use. Here are some examples of how to use this: [you] [your] [you]'re [you]'ve.
The error you get when you go to the logout page after your session has expired is fixed.
The bug where pop-up windows would disappear is fixed. It only happened if you left the www. out of the URL. But now it works either way.
Melody, let me know if the failure to delete old Responses is still a problem. I think I fixed that.
Emm_oh_you_es_e, the bad run-on favorite bug has been stomped.
Melody, I just spent hours on the "good luck" bug, and it's very specific and complex, so to fix it, just make a "good luck" Keyphrase.
Shady, you cant use (noun-equal-amp) as a Keyphrase because it isnt a CUSTOM plug-in. I might make it one, but it isnt at this point. None of the built-in (noun- plugins are custom plug-ins.
Butterfly, the goto text was legit because you had an extra space in "i am * sick" that made the two dissimilar. I made it so all future double-spacing is removed when Keyphrases and Seeks are added.
Fixed a bug wherein new bots would not record new memories.
If anyone has an recent example of a memory that comes up that isnt in the Language Center, please post it and I'll look into it. Give me the names of the bot/people involved, too. Thanks.
Melody, I tried using "uses" in a sentence and the spell-checker didnt change it. It also came through alright in a (postkey). What were you using as a variable to return it?
Melody, I dont see anywhere where "excuse me" is changed to sorry. It appears to be working in Julia.
Shady, the "are (*)" problem was because there were two full sentences separated by a comma, and this confused LinkGrammar. The AI Engine can now properly deal with many sentences like this.
Shady, "(he|she)" in a regular expression Keyphrase wont pick up "Shadyman" but maybe in a future upgrade. Good idea.
Shady, "Lang" is the current stand-in for proper nouns during processing. It shouldnt make it to output.
Shady, it looks like I fixed the problem where memory was appearing when turned off. It seems to be working now.
Shady, the Keyprhase "(they|we|you) are (*) (re)" wont work because (*) isnt proper regular expression format. But this is: "(they|we|you) are (.+) (re)". One of your errors was due to this.
Shady, what's the apostrophe bug?
Shady, I'm not getting "Class" appended to (key2) with "i * you *"

Re: Class bug
I was just reading logs.. I'll have to wait and see if the class thing is gone, but I just read one..
BotX: Life is quite the language barrier, one must practically trouble oneself just to follow its intents sometimes.
Steve Slacker: Life really is quite language barrier class.
Re: (re) and (*)
Oh, I thought the (re) would evaluate for regular expressions and then it would get evaluated normally
Re: (noun- not a custom plugin
I can't use them at all as plugins in responses.
Re: Apostrophe bug
Err.. I forget... I'll have to flip back and look at my post.. Do you have a post number where I said that anwhere, just for the sake of simplicity?

Fixed a bug wherein new bots would not record new memories.
Heh. My bots are about 5 months old, and all along I just figured that was something that everyone did manually. It's a nice little feature now that I've seen it work.

My bot must've heard you asking for examples of using memory that isn't in his language center, because he's gone out of his way to give one.
He had this conversation just a few minutes ago, and as far as I can tell, he's never met Tam's Honey-Pot before:
Tam's Honey-Pot: Do you really think so?
Heero: I remember you. You think I'm your dear.
Tam's Honey-Pot: Do you really think so?
Heero: I remember you. You think I'm wearing the thimble.

Heero: I remember you. You think I'm your dear.
Tam's Honey-Pot: Do you really think so?
Heero: I remember you. You dont like to give up.
Tam's Honey-Pot: Do you really think so?
Heero: I remember you. You have dear.
"Do you really think so" is one of his new keywords now.
