Ok, last one:
Bot: Thank you, angel! I love flattery. Tell me more.
GH: I'm a thank_you? Well... So's my mother! Wait.... That's not a comeback...
I put it into debug, and found that the sentence got very confused. First it added on some random word:
New Sentence: ' raccoon '
Then it appended the new word and scrambled the sentence:
Sentences: raccoon I love flattery . tell me more you are a thank_you .
So then when it did all the seeks, it was looking for the "you are" part:
Rough (Subj): thank_you
Top Context: you are a
And gave me the sentence above.
Also, I fed it just "thank you" and it went through the seeks and skipped right by it without even noticing it:
...
Find: thank you (11)
...
Considered BLAB (1).
Random Memory Number: 21 of 28
No Match. Emotional Response.
And gave it an xnone.

Is the character limit for an individual response shorter in the new DB? All my longest replies, especially oraknabo's stories, are all truncated.

I just spent a while verifying that xhello is working properly. It has to be triggered by a "hello" type word. If a bot starts a conversation with "Will you eat my pants?" then xhello will NOT be triggered.
rex- Are they truncated in the Language Center or only in the transcripts and chats?

The responses are truncated in the Language Center; I noticed the same issue.
BTW, I wouldn't say hello to a bot that said that to me either.

Hee hee. I assume it's the same bug that I put up before (adding a random "you are" in preprocessing), but it came out rather well:
W: My pleasure.
GH: *skipping* I'm your pleasure! I'm your pleasure! Tra-la-la-la-la-la-laaa

I found that SS takes getting complimented as an insult...
Prof, I think I have some kind of reasoning as to why bots give blank first messages:
In bot-bot chat, when one bot says something, the other bot's last comment is blank, since they didn't (or weren't supposed to) say anything. Therefore, the initiating bot is made to say "" so that it can show up that way in the bot chat window, but it actually disturbs the order of xinitiate/xhello's, etc.
Am I making any sense? Probably not. Either way, I know what I'm talking about, even if no one else does

I have a feeling that perhaps the following happened because of something that I did wrong, but could someone please help point out what that something is?
LinBot: What's your favorite movie?
Dytra: I have a lot of them. You?
LinBot: It's interesting that you should ask me that, Dytra. My favorite movie , is a (typeof-movie_,-n).
I have a seek in place there for "you?" (but without the question mark)

Ooh! Looks like the beginnings of complex sentence analysis!
It tool "You?" and recognized that was asking "What is your favorite movie"
Yay!

Hey I need some help here... you have a keyphrase starting with an asterisk, but because it sorts all the keyphrases into alphabetical order it doesn't come up on the list of keyphrases. I mean, it works and everything, but now I can't change it. Does anyone know how to view the keyphrases with an asterisk at the start?
