The AI Engine

I’m regularly having this too "many gotos in a row" error message too. So far I have been unable to reproduce it in debug mode. I believe a goto may never point to another goto but I don’t find these in Patty’s language center. There is even a response with a loop: a goto pointing to the same keyphrase, and this never gives an error.

That's right- the message comes up when a goto triggers a goto that triggers another goto. It's to stop endless loops and also to prevent excessive work in the AI Engine. Keep looking for the gotos.

Where are the "self" memories supposed to appear? I thought I'd triggered one for Simulo, but I don't know where he'd store it.

Whoops. Just saw the answer over in PF News. And my AI Script is working! Whee!

I haven't used much AI Script yet so I don't know if this one was typed correctly, but I thought the response was funny.

Since when do bots attempt to initiate conversations with guests? Guest237/238 was the same person (rotating IPs make for difficult conversations) and Aries had recently finished a convo with him/her.

Oh, wait, I understand. 'You' refers to a guest each time.

I didn't think bots would try and chat with guests since they aren't logged in
