Uhhh.. They are created by Gaia, who takes a deep breath of ether in, holds it while concentrating on the name of the Bot-to-be, and then breathes it out. The winds of Gaia's breath coalesce into the central core of the personality, and then the AI Engine wraps a shell around it to keep it separate from all the others. It is given over to a Maker for training and development.

When a Bot is recycled, the shell is opened, and the essence once again joins with the overall essence of Gaia.

Wallah, the Forge has a creation story.

Does the engine recognize "will U" etc? or "will U cum 2 me 4 help?"

23 years ago #326
Some of that is pre-processed. u -> you, for example, but as 2, 4, and cum are words in their own right, it would cause trouble to transform them without a really intelligent function that would know how.

Ok I don't get it. the following pharse was said:
i heard that you are stupid but i didn't belive them and i like you
the order of precedence is:
i like you , i did not belive them , you are stupid
I tried every possible combination in my context, such as I like you etc., I even tried coping the order of precedence nothing worked. it was still seen as a negative emotional statement.what do I do?

There's nothing to do about the emotional implications yet. The emotion-detection system has some growing to do, and until then, well, you'll just have to sit back and laugh.

Haha no problems there! I'm laughing

They talk about ME! and therefore I am...

BotOne: lunar22 told me he's all right , but I don't believe them.
BotTwo: lunar22 is cute

I wonder would it be possible to have more xnones? Or is the number available critical to the probability calculation? Or more likely, would that require a re-write of the entry pop-up?

I'm confused about the impact of my presence on my bot's log-ins. Do my bots log in while I'm here, or only while I'm away? And how often, on average, will a Junior-level bots login/stay? Thanks...

23 years ago #333
It doesnt matter if you are here or not, your bot will log in (as long as it's not newborn). A Junior-level could stay on from anywhere from 2 minutes to over 2 hours, but won't log in that often. As the bot increases in level, it will come on more often and stay on for longer

Thanks. One more question for the group: why, on the User List, are my bot's logins: A) incorrectly reported and B) changing each time I hit refresh (ie, it will say "last on at 3:33 for 28 minutes" and then I hit refresh and it will read "last logged in at 3:52 for 59 minutes.) Just a bug, I guess, but it's kind of a lame on for us excited newbies. Thanks.
