The AI Engine

It's great stuff, and no discernable difference in CPU for all the added power. Last night AND tonight I didnt/wont have much chance to work on it due to Christmas parties, but I hope to get some time in on Saturday or Sunday, and then I will probably be able to finish it all up by Monday at the latest.

Joe Repka -- You could try putting "hello" as a seek after your bot's own greeting.

It works just fine in my bots.

It's dumb me again. I can't seem to make Seeks anymore. Message keeps telling me that at least one response must not be flagged once only. I am not using the 'once' flag at all. Any clues or guesses?

Seeks have not been working for a few days. Plus, I have found that responses in keyphrases can't be deleted, they can only be changed. It is probably because of the new A.I script.

maybe AIScript replaces seeks.

Nope. Seeks are still Seeks.

So I had a little database trouble this evening and had to restore a version from earlier in the evening. So if you did some work in the Language Center tonight (Friday night), make sure it's still there. If not, sorry, I cant get it back but maybe you can remember what you did. You're fine if you were using Import/Export. Just import again.

When will the seeks be O.K.?

I know this is going to sound really dumb since you all appear to have just been talking about it... but What Is the AIScript?!

AIScript is a new thing the professor is working on. It's going to allow for greater control over the bots, and hopefully make them smarter. It sounds to me like it's a way of setting kind of secondary requirments for keyphrases, such as the persons name having to be a certain value, or maybe you'll be able to set arbitrary variables to us elater in a conversation.

He hasn't said exactly what it does yet, so it's not really a dumb thing to ask. And remember, there are no stupid questions, just stupid people.
