And another thing...can I just come right out and say it: I don't like the second xnone feature. It adds an unwelcome bizarre quality to otherwise "meaningful" chats.
OR...is there some way we can control it in our own bots...along with the memory and gossip features.

I forget where this sort of thing goes, but...
Could all the "are me" situations be replaced with "am I"?

"me are" is replaced with "I am".. when would "are me" come up?
jbryanc: I'll make Compound Sentences an option at the bottom of the Language Center. And maybe something for memory and gossip, too.

Rahz probly means "are you" comes back "are me"...
Prof, even better re compound sentences (OK this is maybe a little grabby) what if we could set how often it happens? Another idea would be to block compounding whenever the response contains seeks...

Good idea, Crab. It's already like that. Compounding is a bit of a complex system, it's based on the length of the Response going on before it, so I'm keeping it binary for now.
And with that, jbryanc, I've completed your suggested system. It's something I had in mind for a while. On any page of your Language Center, you can set Storyteller (formerly Serial Xnone), Compound (yes/no), Memory Level (1-3 or off), and Gossip Level (1-3 or off). That should let you add a bit more personality to your Bots.

Prof
Once again I'm awestruck. I should be used to that around here. Thanks.
Hmmm...That would be a good name for a haulage company: Awe's Trucking.

Any chance of an xmath (answer-word) where 2 converts to "two" I know CF has date functions that know the name of a month when a number is passed to them, Is there a NumberFormat function that spits data out a written form?

You can format numbers, but not in word-form.
I've got a really fun thing in the works! Heehee!
If anyone finds out good Universal Plug-In words, feel free to post them here. For example:
(typeof-food_product) works best for foods. "food" and "foodstuff" both return some strange things.
(typeof-beverage) is the best for drinks.

I can't figure out how to use the universal plugins. They seem like another fabulous idea... but I can't get a response out of them - it keeps sticking in the exact string I type without processing it whatsoever. I tried (plugin-house), (plugin-hous-n), (house-n) all alone... Nothing is processed. I think I've misunderstood the functionality of it all somehow. Ask my bot "Do you have a house" to see what happens (keyword="house").
It's good in a way that I didn't get it to work, because I just spent the last 3 hours optimizing my bot rather than adding all kinds of new functions that would just make the poor thing as mixed up as I am.
Let me know prof, can't wait to try it.
By the way, does this new feature you dreamed up immediately replace the regular plug-in feature? I can't see any reason to go and create our own plug-ins anymore (assuming I more or less understand how the universal plugins should work - which could be a risky assumption).

SirRahz- it's (typeof-house), not (plugin-house) that you should be using.
It doesnt replace the new Custom Plug-In feature, since it wont cover any sort of proper nouns, including people, names, works of art, cinema, literature, limited lists, specific lists, and so on.
