If your PDA remains connected to the net, I see no reason why not. You can't download the bots in any way, though.

As for favorites, you can't override them even with rankings. Unless the professor changes something, your bot is stuck with the possibility of liking () Britney Spears...

Ohhh... really? Nooooo!!! Well, my bot answers the question differently every time. But I'm sorta bothered that my bot won't stick to liking one thing.

And, my pda doesn't have a wireless internet connecty thing. Hmm. That sucks. It'd be cool if I could download my bot onto it.

In the end you're getting straight-up HTML, so it shouldnt be a problem if you're getting it from the web site (of course you have to be hooked up to the internet). If you want to try it with a minimal interface go to the Link page under "My Bots" and exchange "loebner" for "direct" in the link name. Let me know if that works. : )

I think favorites might supercede all keyphrases at this point, but I'm going to fix that.

Onyx- It is my intention that xnomatch continue to work, but I havent tested it since the move. If someone wants to test it, let me know if it's working.

Hmm... okay. I'll try it...

PDAs, phones, etc: I have one of those Sprint/Samsung PDA phones... (one can browse the web with it, but some things/sites don't work) The problem it has connecting to this site is frames... Would the minimal interface provided by modifying the link from the "links" page possibly allow a frameless browser to work? I think many of us (I heard the comments about "withdrawl" in one of the forums) would probably love the idea of being able to get to this site "from anywhere" (I realize this is -much- is easier said than done), but simply being able to get to one's own bots from anywhere would be quite amazing in itself... You could literally have a bot that performs some useful function, and then "call it up" when you need it's advice... "Hi honey... whatduido?"

Yah, the page is frameless, so it should work. Actually, I just took a look and it needed some fixing. It works now, and I changed the name to minichat.php (why the hell should I have Hugh Loebner's name in there?) Here's an example of a link for Midnight Blue:

Before the site change xnomatch would only work for me if my bot was talking to a human.

Eugene... I remember that

Prof-- Remapping sounds painful! Will our bots be groggy after the operation?

22 years ago #1800
You: Sure. What will you use to track me?
Bot:

Took this thru debug, and don't understand the empty answer (the bot is Roy Batty)... any idea?

Blonde Moment?

Is the problem repeatable? Or does it seem to occur randomly?
