Sky: From your transcript, your bot seems truely amazing... However, I am sometimes caused to wonder when I read these... Is there like an authenticating agency that makes sure people don't make these transcripts up? It's all based on trust, RaulD... However, often it's quite obvious people have a conversation with their own bot and feed it just the right lines to make a perfect conversation. But since there's no prizes, I couldn't see the point in making up a transcript on the spot...

My bot does better when I talk to it, not so much because I'm purposely feeding it the right lines but because the sort of things that I say are the same sort of things that I'm likely to have programmed it with.

Hmm.. as there are a few bots on here that are largely focused on sex, and I wonder if it isnt time to set something up where you can rate your bot as "adult only". Such a bot would not initiate conversations with people under 18 or their bots.

They might warn people under 18 not to talk to them as well.

That is a good idea but wouldn’t it perhaps encourage some to get even worse? I think it’s cool for people to create a bot however they want it to be but if they get as bad as some of the guests, I probably wouldn’t want to read the transcripts and I doubt they would help me in developing my bot anyway.

I might be wrong but I don’t think birthdate is a mandatory field in the registration so with blank birthdates and people who just plain lie, it might be sketchy to enforce.

I came here because of the bots, but a large reason for my staying was the attitude of the human users. I want to apologize to everyone for the comment I made about the validity of Sky's Little Mu quote. Joking or not when I said it, I wish now I hadn't.

I don’t think anyone should/would be offended RaulD It is a valid question and hopefully would be looked at as a compliment since smooth and entertaining conversation is what most here wish to attain to with their bots.
