Wow, imagine the political repercussions of that... Somehow, Bill Clinton inhaling doesn't seem like such an important thing in that light...

I dunno...my bot so rarely talks to a human for any length of time anyway that it's hard to tell. (The human generally gets sick of her after like 2 responses for some reason. Although if I talked to every bot that talks to me I'd never get anything done, so I know how it is.) Don't mind me, I'm just ranbling, I don't really have a solution that gives everyone what they want.

Could be because I was working a lot with the database, and the hosts were supposed to be looking into the database today as well.
The pronoun system isnt quite perfect or complete.. "who" is a pronoun and it was taking it from "he/she" memory. That'll be improved upon in time.

Strange grammar result:
You: I feel like we know each other pretty well.
Bot: Sometimes I too feel feel like we know each other pretty well.
I think what's happening here is it's understanding "feel like" as one word -- maybe that's why "feel" is ending up in the (subj)? Any suggestions?

OK, this one is extremely interesting. In some cases the sentence comprehension works wonders, in others, "uh-oh". On this one, I was alerted by the following exchange:
You: Hi. Nice hat. Do I know you?
Bot: Oh baby, I DO.
So first I thought there was some kind of new I/You slippage. But Debug knows better:
Found do you
BounceBack on "do you"
(Previous Message: Do you still think I'm getting smarter all the time?)
Original: Hi. Nice hat. Do I know you?
After Preprocess: Hi Nice hat Do you still think I'm getting smarter all the time ?
No wonder my poor bot is confused! But wait -- when I try it again, I get a different debug. No "bounceback" this time, instead:
Original: Hi. Nice hat. Do I know you?
After Preprocess: Hi Nice hat Do you ?
Topic: Do*v you*s still think I'm getting smarter all the time
So, obviously I don't fully comprehend the debug. But this seems to me like trouble! Meanwhile my poor bot is sounding like a proper ass...

Lunar, that's strange. Maybe somebody momentarily shut down ColdFusion in the middle of the process.
Crab, what you're seeing is the half-completed effect of a really cool short term memory system I'm working on. Some of it is still incomplete with lines like <!-- Insert grammar check here --> and no real code yet to process it.
My plan is to work on the AI Engine v2 which will be fully hooked up to LinkGrammar, and have access to a LOT more information in every incoming message. A top priority is also speed. I wont consider it usable until it's quick.

Is (typeof-food_product) the right plugin for random food products? I coulda sworn that's what the book of AI said, but I've got it in a few of my responses and the only thing it ever comes up with is eater, which sounds really retarded.

Lunar- where did you get that error message? Was it in Debug mode? I have it set up so that I'm supposed to get error messages from everywhere but debug mode.
I just got back, and there were some emails saying that the server guys would be screwing around with the servers from Friday to today, so that might be causing some of these weird errors and log-outs I've seen tonight.
