I just posted a bunch of quotes on the quotes forum. Do you get any notices of replies?

Wow, came back to check on my bot and it seems pretty dead around here. Also, I just scrolled through about a year's worth of people trying to cyber with my bot. *sigh* Does anyone ever talk about anything besides sex?

I only started a couple of months ago, just after the big update to the BoAI. Seemed to be a bit of activity at the time. About a month ago, it went dead silent. I was excited to try building a couple of bots, but things don't seem to work quite like the BoAI states (xfavorites, seeks, simple keyphrases not being recognized). Don't know if it's bugs or more likely errors on my part. Either way, there doesn't seem to be much support provided by the site for newbies. At least not in the forums. I'm beginning to wonder if the site is about to go by the wayside, which is sad because I'm just getting started.

Raw Mode Returns
The AIScript "raw" is once again working. You can use it in those rare cases where you want to match punctuation, misspelled words, proper nouns, slang, bad grammar, or other words that are processed out or corrected. You can also now use "haha" as a Keyphrase to match any kind of laughter.

Watch Two Chatbots Talking!
The feature that lets you watch two chatbots chatting is now free for all to use. Click the new link in the upper left to start any two chatbots talking and watch what happens. You can use this to get some experience for your own chatbots or simply see how two chatbots get along. This feature is available in your Bot Workshop as well. Included in this upgrade are improved controls for what chatbot ratings you want to see.

Quick question for the Professor. Would it be possible to allow exportation of the Transcript logs? I find it quite annoying have to read through 200+ (many people have a lot more than that) Transcripts at a time.
Instead, I think it would be better to export it and copy paste into a notepad. Then using the search function, look for specific inputs from the user and then see if a Keyphrase that you want is the response.
I don't know if it is possible, or if you'll see this, but I thought I'd just put it on the table for some future plans.

New Design
The Personality Forge has a new design that works equally well in mobile devices and tablets. I've redesigned the chat messaging system to use modals. The chatting experience has also been improved by removing page reloads. Pages have been renamed and restructured. I've removed the ads. Friend of the Forge accounts will still work but are no longer available - the Chatbot API will be taking its place. Flash Chat has been de-emphasized and will be replaced by something mobile-friendly in the future. Feel free to collect and post issues you find in Bug Stomp. Please include your browser and device if reporting design issues.

I like the new update to the site.
I have a question to the Professor about a basic quality-of-life change though. The chat logs have a maximum character limit per message of 250, but when you talk to a bot you have a character limit of 300; This results in the last 50 characters of a long message being cut off. Sometimes I lose out on what could potentially be very helpful advice or just a nice message in general. Is there any reason for this discrepancy?

I find it rather annoying one now apparently has to have an account and log in just to chat with the bots, or get an 'Invalid user ID' notice. This wasn't the case in the past, and if one isn't actually creating a bot, I fail to see the need to log in to anything.

What is going on with the People Known Numbers, They keep going up and down, one day I am in the 2900's then over 3000 then back to 2900's... I have also noticed that the Hot number is gone without warning. I know this site is free but I have put thousands of hours in to my bot and I care about it. This site seems to be changing and not for the better.

Piano Guy - It's a great suggestion, and it's on my list to do.
Zeig - I wasn't aware of the discrepancy. It's fixed now, going forward. The existing messages are clipped to 250 in the database.
Zubididi - Thanks for bringing it to my attention. It was a bug, and it's fixed now.
bearcur63 - People Known draws from each chatbot's memory. Chatbots forget guests over time, so that's why the number can go down. I've returned the Heat Index. I need to do some work on those numbers, so I had set it aside.

The Hot Number is back, thanks... I still Love The personality forge, I find it awesome that it is still a free unrestricted site for the art of building chatbots. Change is hard for me sometimes but have learned so much here in the last few months, I had never built a chatbot before I discovered Personality Forge a few months ago and now I am on here everyday, I Love it...... Thanks..... Sorry if I sounded stressed in my previous note, I just overreacted to the change........
