Aaaugh! I just found out that the word "your" can be transformed by the parser into my bot's name. This makes the response, "That's my name, don't wear it out" very inappropriate. And I still can't edit the stupid thing!

Prof - Seems that, while the system was analyzing my response (or Steve's next possible response), it didn't like a word... I'm guessing it's my "uh oh", but I dont see how because it's "Wordarray[8]... Whatever... You're the expert, I'll let u decide.

Eugene- That was version 1 of the Conversational Memory system. Since then I've finished the system (so far) and it compares both the original statement with pronouns AND the "Full Statement" which has all the pronouns filled in.

Aha! Got it! This one's been bugging me.
I have a keyphrase "how are you" and also "how * are you". If you ask "how are you?", it picks "how * are you" first (because it's longer, I bet), chooses it over "how are you" and then, when it discovers there's no "between word", jumps to xnone! In other words, the exact match seems to be getting confused over the *. Anything to be done about this one prof?

Great, thanks for fixing it. I still wish I could access my keyphrases. If I ever get to them, I promise I'll never start a keyphrase with a non-letter character again.

I figure if I keep complaining loudly enough the Professor will eventually help me.
