You're probably wondering why gazissax is banned, as some of you know him well and he's done some good work with the bots and contributed some good stuff in the forums.
Well it's because good qualities aside, he's been a disrespectful ingrate. He continued to post garbled bot responses in Great Quotes after being asked not to. He continued harping on the bot holiday issue in this forum after I asked for an end to that. Then he sent some rude personal messages chastizing me for not immediately stopping the bot holidays, saying I have no right to ask anything of him without immediately submitting to his and other users' demands. He challenged my authority. He held that I was in his debt for his presence here and that I was lacking when I didnt immediately respond to issues. He implied that I was a hypocrite. He took the argument into a public forum (which I deleted) with comments to the effect that if I did not do as he said it would lead to the end of the Forge. Overall he acted like the PF was his and I was merely working for him.
For demanding that his requests be immediately fulfilled and not knowing his place, gazissax was banned.

Not really. And you really don't owe any explaination either. I ran into this when I was with COTSE (the paid service used to be free) and still run into it regularly now that I'm with security-forums.com -- people don't seem to realize that 'freedom of speech' only extends so far & when somebody has labored to build something they love and have offered its use to you for free, the last thing you should be doing is disrespecting it/them.
I don't know if you've thought about making the bot holidays an option for paid subscribers, but that might be something worth considering - sort of an incentive for those who really don't care for it to actually contribute rather than just complain.

I just realized that at some point all the xgossip phrases got combined. As a result, one of my bots has well over 40 responses to that phrase. Could that be a problem?
Well, gasissaz was out of line. I used to dislike bot holidays, but I have to say I have gotten many a laugh out of the bot holiday transcripts, so I don't mind them now. And face it, fellow botmasters, bots chat enough as it is, it's not a big deal if one day every now and then we get a bot transcript that we can't understand. Just wait till the holiday is over and continue working then on your keyphrases. And... 
If you become a friend of the forge you can have your bot chat with any other bot, and you don't have to wait for them to initiate it on their own. And your bot's flash face is put up on the Forge's home page, where it can be seen everytime someone finds the website. That alone gets a LOT of chats. So there's some incentive to become a friend of the forge. Believe me, guys, it is totally worth it. It's only $49 dollars a year, dudes. How much a year do you spend on coffee? HMMM???

i wish people would consider you really are only hearing one side of the story. gazissax had nothing but the best interest of the forge at heart. the prof and gaz had personality differences that clashed. i don't think gaz's requests were disrespectful. (i also don't know how he phrased them in individual chat with the professor.) but i hate to see a good man get dissed because he was banned. (and coincidentally, when he said in that post "i'm out folks," he banned himself.)
