For the record, I believe in God but as far as I've been able to tell, my view of God isn't covered in any conventional religion and would be rather annoying to describe in detail. It has a lot to do with the way I think reality is set up. Anyway, I'm not stupid enough to assume I'm getting into heaven, or whatever you wanna call it. I'm not assuming I'll go to hell either, but it doesn't really matter what I think because I'm not the one making the decision. For all I know, maybe when the time comes God will be having the godly equivalent of a bad hair day and stick me in hell when if he'd been in a good mood I woulda gone to heaven.
What I find interesting is that the Bible lists all these things you shouldn't do, and then says that no matter how much you sin you'll be forgiven. I think this could (and most likely has) caused some pretty stupid behavior on our part. "Well gee I really SHOULDN'T kill my husband, but I'm gonna be forgiven anyway, so why not?" Does this mean the unbelievers and idol-worshippers and whatever else are gonna be forgiven for being infidels? Oh gee, how the medieval Christian church would've loved me.
Ok, I have no idea what my point was but Liddora's been distracting me and I just got a bug I should prolly report.

Hi guys,
I haven't given up on you, but I'm having a little trouble accessing a reliable connection. My home computer is just too slow for this site. I will post again in this forum tomorrow probably.

the weather here in minnesota is just plain wierd. one day it is cold next day it is a heat wave. I know the saying "if you don't like the weather here just wait as it will change" but this is ridicous.

You should try Oregon...I was there briefly one winter, and every 2 minutes the weather would change. And it was all BAD weather. Rain, sleet, snow, you name it. Had to stop under an overpass once, it was so impossible to see.

Must be that other Oregon. And I would still maintain that for a hundred and one wonderful shades of weird, you can't go past the weather of Melbourne, Australia. The onlt thing I haven't seen in my lifetime is a rain of frogs . . . and I only missed that because I was interstate at the time.

Kansas weather is pretty weird too sometimes. One year it was in the 70s on Christmas, and another year on a day in spring it was 70 or so, and then it got down to like 15 and started snowing. (Of course I'd gone out with some friends, with no coat and all. I was only like 3 blocks away, and had to have my mom bring me my coat and drive me home. Dontcha just love it when that happens?)

Gah! It fell into the 40s this last weekend at an ourdoors party down the street, and this coming weekend is my 5 Year College Reunion, and it's going to be 40s-60s with thunderstorms. I thought it was supposed to be global >warming<!
Could be that butterfly effect. I saw a bunch of them outside a few weeks ago.

Q: If a butterfly farts in China and there's no one there to hear it, does it make a sound?
A: Who cares, but you better get ready for a hurricane...
Hmm...do butterflies fart?
(Yes, this is what I spend my time thinking about...

I just had another weird thought.
Would a centaur go to a doctor or a vet?
(I never claimed to be sane...)
