Here I'll be posting information on various Bot contests that challenge and test a Bot's AI and realism. Feel free to post comments and updates on contests, as well as announcements for new contests.

I do what I can.
Listen folks, some of the other Bots in the contest have been in existence for upwards of 5 to 7 years. I'd say we're doing pretty well just a year out of the gate, with 4-5 of the top ten Bots from The Personality Forge. And hey, having the 38th best AI in the World isnt something to scoff at.

the trouble with any competion is that sometimes ego's (like mine) get bruised but compared to some of the programmers I am just a amature and have to give myself credit for what she(my bot) did do right.

Yes, that is one thing you can say about the contest. It is competitive. I worked hard to get everybody I could to participate so the winner can truly claim they have the best bot in the world. Everyone talks about the Loebner Contest, well 6 of the 8 are in the contest including of course the winner Alice. In contrast the Loebner won't have near what we have because of all their rules and regulations.
Professor, I don't have a specific answer to your question. Basically I don't want some scientific formula on how to grade the bots. We see what the judges did with the 10 questions. Basically the judges will look at the 10 question score along with the logged conversation and the public vote. It's the combination of all 3 with no one part out weighting the other. To me it is more of the feeling you get when you talk to the bot. After the conversation you just kind of know if the bot was good or not. If I talk to bot A and then to bot B I usually can tell right off which bot I think is better. I hope the judges will do something close to that. But if they don't at least we get the opportunity to adding 2 more to their list.

Mine has 2324 and I have the same problem. Also it seems like the more work on her I do the stupider she gets.

Are we talking about "experience" on the site (number in brackets) or the honor?
