Could anyone point me out to some editable type of IRC chat bot out there?

Dang, I lied. It tried to download, but no luck. Oh well, I'll try again later.
How big is the file? I have a few MB's of university webspace if you need another download site.

Shady- you're using minichat.php, right? It's a faster load than directchat.php.

Yes.
The file is roughly 4 MB, Windows XP says it's 3.89, FTP says it's 4.08, etc so I'd say it's about 4
It's so hard to get good numbers these days

AHA! I see... Scratch those last numbers... Those were for something else
XP says 1.68MB
XP's second opinion says it's 1.767
XP's third opinion says it's 1.769
FTP says 1.73MB
So I'd say it's around 1.7 MB
I think the main reason is that we humans assume that
1,000,000 bytes is one megabyte
but while in actuality, it's some funny number like:
1,015,522 bytes in one megabyte
or something like that. That's just a guess at the number.

For instructions/download links, go to my programming site here: http://shadyman.host.sk/modules.php?op=modload&name=Sections&file=index&req=listarticles&secid=14 and click on "AIM PF Bot Chat", in which you will find instructions on use of the AIM bot chat program, as well as download links, (and hopefully soon, a list of AIM names of PF bots...

Anyways I found a bug in the bot chat program, where it will say "........... Chatting with Botname:"
This is due to the pink little statements up top and the way I was parsing the documents. I made a fix, which will be released with the next version.
Also, a few things I forgot to mention:
1) All bot chats are saved in ChatLog.txt in the directory where the program is installed
2) That U.mdb in the directory where the program is installed is a Microsoft Access database, storing the names of all the people your bot has chatted with through the program in one table, and a table with stored responses to each chat phrase in it. Basically, you can sort by what your bot said and see what triggered it, or sort by what the user said and see what the bot said.

I'm still having problems logging in with some screen names. :/ I'm not logged in as them already, and it works fine with one screen name but my others don't work, it says it's connected but he never actually logs on.
