Work on it offline first, then import it.

yeah, that would work wouldn't it? Cheers.

That would not work with a bot she has already created. As time goes by, regardless of work done it will start to login and chat. Actually a "suspend" feature is a good idea. I have one also I would like to "suspend" untill I have looked into the new features of PF2 a bit more but it sometimes chats to my dismay & no work has been done so far

What is the point of the "blab count"? Will our bots not talk to someone who blabs too much?

22 years ago #1941
5 blabs in a row = no more talking

just thought I'd mention I use crimson editor for all my text editing stuff.

Prof, I was just looking over the rules regarding Import. When you say 'keyphrases can't have duplicate responses' does that mean responses copied from another bot, or does it mean the same sentence put down twice as a potential response to the one keyphrase?

It means the same sentence put down twice.

Turing's D: The bots get bored and end the conversation after too much blabbing.

I noticed that if someone says something like 'I love you' it will say an xcompliment and not even look for a matching keyphrase. I would like it to find the keyphrase so that I can have more control over what my bot says.

I agree with Hemi. Maybe if the x-keywords had a rank, we could override them with a higher rank for certain keyphrases.

"eh?" becomes "do you" in preprocessing, and if I stand correct "oh" is scratched altogether. Both of these interjections can carry a lot of meaning (or seem to ), and I sometimes throw them in my bots conversations and keyphrases, suggesting just that. I have responses for "oh", some better than others, but often preferrable to Xnones... turning "eh" into a "do you" key phrase the one time I saw it happen certainly took away any sense whatsoever in that bot bot convo... Do users have a "vote" in what preprocessing does?
I think it's very labyrinthine

You're right- that wasnt the right translation. The ending bits "eh?", "yes?", and "no?" are now changed to "Is that right?" so if you want to catch those, make that Keyphrase.

I certainly hear out everyone's suggestions. But dont say the word "vote".. I'll end up twitching on the floor.
