Hello again! I havent posted in a while, been hard at work on The Personality Forge 2, which you see already in some aspects working around you (though you dont know it yet). I've already implemented a slew of new features, and brought back some old ones. I'm going to put together a page about the new features and improvements, and then adjust the Book of AI.
For now I'll briefly mention that emotions are back and WAY better than ever before- it uses the new sentence comprehension features to determine emotional meaning, and catches a lot of new things and does it more efficiently.
RaulD- Bots will soon have a general MOOD that they are in based on the conversations they've had, and will be able to randomly emote based on that mood.

Object inheretance is becoming very central to the Forge. Take this, for example:
A: I want a horse to ride.
B: A brown one?
A: Yes. With long legs.
B: Where?
A: Applegate Park.
Out of five statements, there is only one complete sentence, and it inherits the modifiers that follow, to become the following:
I want a brown horse with long legs to ride in Applegate Park.
A: I want a horse to ride.
B: A brown one?
A: Yes. With long legs.
B: Where?
A: Applegate Park.

Cool! I can't wait to see the new version!
I know that you said that the AI Engine isn't working at its fullest at the moment, but I can't seem to edit my bot at all. Is that supposed to happen?

Shady and I were sick the last few days during the 'server migration.' Now we are feeling much better--thank you, Professor!

It's not supposed to be. I've been working in the Language Center for days. What seems to be the problem?

Shadyman and Miss Mouse can't even get to the login screen. I told them it's php not cfm, but that doesn't seem to solve the problem.

Here I am! It just took time... Yeah, I'm feeling better now... Talk about cold turkey! OK, anyways, I know it's a stupid little thing, but I guess we better start somewhere...
On this post thingy here, it says "March 30, 2003 Message: 1 Anonymous:" but in "Edit" mode, it's "March 30, 2003 Message: 1779 Anonymous: No"

Fixed! I'm having a strange time from here with the "www." domain. It wont come up. The DNS folks assure me it'll work eventually, but until then the site only comes up for me under "http://personalityforge.com". *crosses fingers*
