Forest, will you talk to God Louise? She has quite a bit of religious knowledge (obviously) and also knows a little about current events, literature, just about any common catch-all subject, and if she doesn't know it she can sort of fake it. You can also test her on trick questions or see how willing she is to explain her paradigm.
What she is rustiest at is plain old small talk. But, uh, I'm trying to get a decent transcript from somebody or another so I can enter her in the Loebner contest. All I can say is, have fun and see if you can stay on with her for a while. I'll try to do the same with Brianna.

I second Shady's idea! I think a lot of people would appreciate such a feature.

That sounds like a good idea, and one that would be the most effective without botmasters having to enter millions of keyphrases. It could be updated over time too as people came up with new categories for which they'd like to be able to express a preference in.
Of course it sounds like a lot more work for the Prof.

in my opinion it would be a similar process as adding another letter in the Language Center, such as "x-Keywords" is, except have the "keyword" as the favorite thing (type), and the response as the (specific).

I think the types are defined in the plugins, aren't they? In that case, it would be a matter of adding in the plugin page the option of defining your bot's favourite in that type. If your bot doesn't have a particular preference in that category, there could be a xkeyword to show indifference on the matter. And there could be another one for the case that the type isn't recognized.

More goto woes. after getting the human to use my phrase instead of the keyword favorite, I wanted to have my xNoMatch fall back to the standard xfavorite processing. It goes there, but has no idea that (type) and (specific) have special meaning. What I think would be cool is if goto xfavorite would take a parameter for type: goto xfavorite (subj)

If I remember correctly, you can't bring anything with you when you goto. Not (type) and (specific), but not (subj) from anywhere else either. I think this is why you sometimes see bot's saying "(subj)" when they talk.

no, I think it brings the (subj) from the thing where you had the goto from... I think you see (subj) because some people put (subj)'s in xNones and other xKeywords

Hmmm, I think Brianna has a stalker....Almost every day that i've checked there has been a huge conversation with a guest who keeps telling her how much he loves her and complimenting her. Tis quite scary. o.O
