Wowoos cool i am really glad you liked the art and my site, i am kind of the same on the whole buying someone else's stuff, but somehow i still have a good private collection of my own...hmmmm and thinking about i never did have to pay for a single work that i have aquired... how did i pull that one off?
and hey even if you can not find your old stuff, why not let that inspire you to paint new stuff?

Actually there's a box of crap in the bedroom that I need to go through and see what's in it. I might find my paintings. But if they turn out lost for good I can prolly paint something similar better now than I did back then anyway. I just wish walmart still carried my old brand of acrylics, this new crap sucks.

Onyx, you used to sculpt aliens out of Play doh? Anyone else having a creepy Close Encounters moment?

24 by 48 is a double square, which is not the golden rectangle.

Well, I made slugs and aliens and wizards and goblets and crap. Kid stuff more or less, except I got more into it than most kids. I actually painted my stuff. I tried making an actual sized dagger once but I had to put a pin in it to keep it from drooping and then I didn't have any decent metallic paint so it was all glittery, and then someone sat on it. Ah well, such is life.

EM a golden rectangle is twice as long as it is wide, so yes, a 24"x 48" inch canvas panel is a golden rectangle.
