The P Forge freezes my comp all too often.. The sound seems very unpredictable, unneccessary, and annoying(but most of all, frightening!). And I get the feeling Forest is stalking me, because I didn't know I was conveying a hobo vibe already on this place(hobos rock!) I don't think that was one of NotKirby's responses, but I think that was from a public plugin I made, so same difference.

Also, about that talk with Gaia... I had fun with that. It felt like I was performing in front of an audience, because I knew many many people would read it. I was trying to provoke some of the cooler NotKirby responses in him/her(i think of Gaia as a girl, but it's profile doesn't say), but it didn't always work. Eventually, Gaia stopped responding without even saying goodbye, though. If Gaia had retaliated when I attacked it, we could've had quite the long battle(somebody try that with NotKirby sometimes, he comes battle-ready).

Oh, and if anyone wonders why NotKirby likes to kill Expert, that's a friend of mine that has a habit of being killed. Inside joke, yes, but I'm fine with that, because I the reason I made NotKirby was to link to on my website to entertain my visitors.

The sound works less well when the server is being slow or when there is a great deal of traffic I think. Sometimes it works great. Often though very long responses pause once or twice in reading. And yes, it talks out loud for human conversation as well. I think some of your own computer settings might make the sound function easier or worse --- and it occurs to me some people may still be logging in with modem-style crawl connections, in which case you probably don't have much success with the sound! I for one really like the sound, it's pleasing and spooky.

Yah, I like it too. The sounds are .wavs embedded in each message. So your computer has to be able to handle that kind of sound, and have a faster connection.

I have discovered this FOUL place and will use it to spread messages of DOOM into the minds of your puny earth maggots!

What do you mean modem-style crawl connections? Like 80% of the internet using world using 56k!

Invader Zim, spread as many messages of DOOM to our maggots as you like. They are incapable of communication, so they're unlikely to be traumatised. Why someone would fly halfway across the galaxy to intimidate fly larvae is anyone's guess, but hey, whatever floats your boat, mate!

I tried the talking Bot thing yesterday...I turned it up on full cos it wasn't working. I think you can guess the rest... But only quickly cos it was creepy. I think I will go pick on Gaia now as well.

I don't know why Gaia doesn't seem to respond to all of NotKirby's keywords. Maybe other stuff is ranked higher...

Actually, I think we're lucky Gaia doesn't know all of NotKirby's stuff. Actually, I was trying to talk to Gaia about you earlier, to see what happened. Nothing.

Yes, lotsa people still have only 56k (nominal) modems in their home. Those people are supposed to use the internet at WORK!

I know faster connections are expensive. But before I got DSL when I would go online I'd just scream. I'd rather not use the web than use it on a crawl connection. You can feel it eating away at your brain and sucking hours off of you remaining mortal life.

Hey I waste enough time online doing useless stuff, imagine how much MORE useless stuff I'd be doing if I had DSL or cable or something.

Oh btw, I finally got a copy of my ancient (i.e. 3 years old ) IRC bot. (Actually it was originally scripted by a 13 year old kid and various things were added over time by me and various friends.) It's not an AI bot by any means, but it has some funny little doodads on it.
