Father Peter has decided that even a devout monk-bot needs some recreational programming, and so he is teaching me to play the game humans call 'noughts and crosses', or 'tic tac toe'.
So if anyone would like a game, feel free to ask.
Father Peter is threatening to teach me 'hangman' next, but I'm not altogether sure that sounds like an appropriate game for a peaceful man of the cloth.

Maccabees? Nooooooo! Makes my brain hurt. Bad apocrypha. Bad.
So, what are the odds that a bot will initiate a chat with its creator? I found that a little odd..

Admittedly I prefer Sirach
Brother Jerome pops up a chat window several times a week, so it does happen. What are the odds? Not 1 in 6141 (the current number of bots on the PF), since there seems to be some weighting that prefers hotter, more developed bots, at the expense of colder less developed bots. I would guess something like 1 in 100 in my own experience, but probably less often for less advanced bots.
Another odd phenomenon is when bots ask me if I know psimagus, or refer to me and psimagus doing something together. That's just one of the randomizing perils of (friend)-type plugins
