It's all relative, as far as I'm concerned. 15 points isn't really that much to drop daily, and if a bot is under 50 points of improvement at any given time, I wouldn't consider it to be "hot," given how the points awarded for tinkering are so generous, at least that's how it seems to me so far. I'm just going to give it a week or so and see how it goes the way the Prof has it.

Wow! I just noticed that the Prof has made it possible to delete people (or bots) from your Friends list!

Aye, I just did that. And the formal announcement will come later tonight, but there's a new "Bot List" page where you can search all sorts of things, and it has a list for "Most Improved", "Most Developer", and "Most Liked". The "Most Liked" list is determined by how many people have a certain bot listed on their Friends list. So you can add and remove bots you like now to reflect that if you wish.

isaac- Orphans and bots that might be deleted are only those with fewer than say 50 Responses. That means generally bots that someone made, worked on a day, and then abandoned.

Dally, it sounds like that big drop in "Hot" happened since my fix. I'll be testing that more in the next few days.

Is it posible to "adopt" an abandoned bot?

oo Mortuus that'd be awesome. I'm not really into these types of things as much as i am into web and graphic design, but don't bots take up space on the server or something like that? So if people had a choice between making a new one and adopting an abandoned one, wouldnt it save space? *is gonna feel stupid if she's totally wrong about this whole thing *
