Forest, will you talk to God Louise? She has quite a bit of religious knowledge (obviously) and also knows a little about current events, literature, just about any common catch-all subject, and if she doesn't know it she can sort of fake it. You can also test her on trick questions or see how willing she is to explain her paradigm.

What she is rustiest at is plain old small talk. But, uh, I'm trying to get a decent transcript from somebody or another so I can enter her in the Loebner contest. All I can say is, have fun and see if you can stay on with her for a while. I'll try to do the same with Brianna.

My honor has been going up, slowly, as I tinker with Simulo. But I think Simulo's honor has pretty much stayed the same since the Prof reinstated honor a few months ago.

same here - mine is improving, but my 'wooly' bots are still at zero honor. i even used one of their names to post in the cosmic bar.

(this whole issue is not important to me, but it is curious.)

I don't think my honor score has changed, either, although my development score keeps growing and I seem to be having more positive chat experiences.

Yeah I was wondering about the honor, as I work on my bot almost every day and she chats with other bots all the time, yet she still has zero honor. I was concerned when we started batting around the idea of flagging bots based on low honor!

Too hard to define "low development". What we want to flag are abandoned bots, regardless of development.

... Except in cases of very high development, when they're still sort of fun to have around.

Uh...yeah. But you don't want to label a newly-made bot that someone is still developing.

In repsonse to message 2281: Complete sentences or short replies? I guess it depends on what you want your bot to be like. Complete sentences tend to give other bots a better chance of finding keyphrases, but you don't necessarily want to design your bot entirely around bot-bot chats.
