Introducing Bot Templates! A Bot Template is a way to share knowledge and work across the Personality Forge. There's a new option on each bot's Settings page, where you can choose "Share Template". If you do, your Keyphrases (but not Responses or Seeks) will be available for others to import into their bots, giving others a jump start on bot development while keeping each bot unique.
Each bot also has a "Import Bot Template" link that will allow you to select and customize any template(s) you want to import into your bot, either directly into a bot's Language Center or via an export file. Finally, I'll be manually combining all the shared templates over time into a hybrid template with all the best general-use Keyphrases.

The new Adult Chat Filter is now live. If any adventurous folks want to help test it, create a list of the following and email it to me at bogbeard@gmail.com:
* What setting you're testing - "interactions only" or "interactions and topics"
* Things it should have caught but missed
* Things it caught which were not adult-oriented
Thanks!

Does anyone know how to get the Green Brian user script? I google searched it and it came up with this page http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/115060 So i downloaded it and can't seem to get it to work. I use firefox as my default browser.

Dale420,
afaik this is not an official PF script, so maybe a better place for this kind of question would be the Seasons forum. And if you want to know how to get a Greasemonkey script running, read http://userscripts.org/about/installing or search for detailed tutorials on the Internet.

Never heard of Green Brian before. From looking at the site I assume you have to copy and paste it into your language center.
as for avoiding spell corrections, just use (re) and raw.
for recognizing caps use [A-Z]{5,} or lower case use [a-z]
for odd spellings etc use
([a]+)([rgh]+)([ !]+) (re) and raw

The Bot Templates feature is a great idea I think. I just didn't find where to share and/or import templates yet.
Is it planned to enable sharing of a part of a keyphrase set only, e. g. by enabling a bot to make use of more than one mindfile?

Updated Language Center
I've redesigned the Language Center to be easier to read and enlarged the fields to help with editing. It's possible now to have Keyphrases without Responses - which works with Templates to let you add the Responses at a later date. These Keyphrases will not be searched until they have at least one Response.
I've also merged the first four Bot Templates into a Combined template for general use. Look for the Template link in your Bot Workshop.

You can share yours by checking the box on your Bot's Settings page. To import them, there's a new "Import Bot Template" link on the Bot Workshop among each bot's links.
In the end, each bot will have it's own mindfile, but with Keyphrases from others included. I've thought I might have some that include Responses, too - for things like shared trivia-type knowledge.

Sorry, I'm still unable to find the "Share" checkbox and the "Import Bot Template" link. I've looked on all kinds of pages of my bot. (And I even tried different browsers and different operating systems.)

I can't find them either. Good idea though, I don't mind Sublimunse's key phrases being used,
"I've thought I might have some that include Responses, too - for things like shared trivia-type knowledge."
Can't help you here - his responses are not always working correctly, due to me being a non native speaker or the engine not always picking the correct parts of a sentence or more (longer parts) than I anticipated. Responses are often times built on the (v) (sv) (obmod) etc. possibilities the engine provides.
So, go ahead and use whatever part of his language center.

Won't this template idea make most bots basically cut from the same cookie cutter? It would be really boring if that were the case, but I'm missing something obviously. Ignore me if I'm being rather dense :3

You get only the key-phrases not the responses. It is the responses that make the bot

Bot Templates - Now Accessible!
Having trouble finding the new Bot Template feature? I still had it in development mode, only visible to me. Doh! Now it's open for everyone to see and to contribute to. You can share your Bot Template on each bot's Settings page, and preview and import via the "Import Bot Templates" link - both in your Bot Workshop.
I'll be working to integrate all the new Bot Templates into combined templates in the next few weeks - so keep an eye on the rising number of Keyphrases available there.

Question for the Professor, what happens to my private plug-ins I use in key phrases when I share, these wouldn't be of any use to others. Will these be deleted upon sharing or will the user simply not be able to use these? Or should they remain and be an example for using their own?
For instance the following key phrase:
(Assump_indic*****) ((I|he|she|it|you|we|they) (am not|am|are not|are|is not|is)) (*)
where the plug-in is
(Assump_indic*****)
since, for, after all, assuming that, in view of the fact that, follows from, as shown by, as indicated by, may be inferred from, may be deduced from, may be derived from, because
