xfavorites is not working, it seems most people just use regular keywords for each favorite anyway though.

Just wondering... is there an advanced template for robots... or do I need to type it all in? I just wonder because of how I don't want to type in all of the things! Thanks!

is there anyway to bypass or delete xhello? or if not can someone explain to me how to set it up? every time i say hello it gives xnone

MROdell48: I think the xhello gets used when your bot starts a conversation, or something. That said, I'm not clear on the distinction between xhello and xinitiate either.

I need help with my chatbot It won't let me have a continuous message like most bots on here, for example:
You walk home "enter your house"
I did something like that for my bot I used seek for the so the chat can continue and it doesn't type anything but nonsense when I type the keyphrase for the beginning or the seek message this site is pissing me off like wtf can't it do anything right other people can do it what do I have to do pay $100? Just to do what most people do :/ it is bs if that is what I have to do

Okay Jasmine, a couple things. First off I have no idea where you got the idea that you need to pay 100 dollars to make your bot work. That is simply not true.

Second, I tried your bot albeit very briefly. I would suggest starting with very basic key phrases such as 'How are you?' or 'What do you look like?" Read transcripts religiously to start in order to get a basic idea of what things people say to your bot.

If instead your goal is for the users to follow a clearly defined script to follow (Tiny's Tavern for example), then that script begins with xinitiate and xhello. That is going to be your starting point.

Lastly, phrases and commands surrounded with * tend to confuse and break the bot. I note this in my bots profile and help option but on occasion I'll see a user surround an action with * and it almost always makes things go wrong.

Question, how do I filter transcripts? I have a bit of a problem where there are a crapton of them, and I want to delete the ones I've already taken into account so I'm not scrolling past them all the time.

Hey, is there any way to see what a chatbot responds too and what dialogue it can say? I've been thinking about making my own, and I thought looking at certain other bots and their dialogue would help a lot.
