tbh I have my bot set on autocorrect so if somebody does type a capital instead of lower case or mispelled the word it wouldn't send an xnone unless somebody was 2-3 off

well my bot has 0 broken keyphrases but somebody else complained about them but I don't want to be using keyphrase and keyphrase and keyphrase with no seeks that isn't organized seeks help me keep it all in one keyphrase that way its not everywhere

While there are no doubt still bugs to swat I agree with reiven that a lot of the errors people seem to be experiencing are more likely than not user related. Either in using too many seeks, as was the case with the error bobstack posted a couple months ago or the method you're using to program your bot.

In bot2bot chat, I got a "request failed" error when trying to get Demonica and my other bot Siseneg to chat but Demonica and Laurel Sweet chatted normally and I continued the chat 3-4 times to makes sure it would still work.

There was a bug using a Member name in a category that caused the same error and Arrid reported that it was happening during chat with Demonica as well, though I could not tell it from the transcript of their chat.

I took a break for the last month and just got back yesterday but I'm not seeing any bugs in her transcripts. I use very little scripting though and fewer seeks. It's all keywords and categories and seems to be going smoothly.

In regard to Warrior25's comment about bots being marked as "complete" at a competing site. Firstly, everyone is free to make as many bots at as many sites as they wish.

What you're doing is splitting up the time you could be spending on one between them all. None of them will ever be as good as one you spent all your time on might have been.

That's your prerogative but I'd just as soon not see their site spammed here.

Unless your bot has an answer to every question it has been asked by a user, or me, it's not done and never will be if you want smooth conversation and do it right.

Hornygirl6909-2 says she has "10 keyphrases and 30 seeks? and about 30 keyword responses". That's 3 times as many seeks as keyphrases and equal in number to responses. Referencing the aforementioned error bobstack posted that's asking for trouble IMO.

I don't know how many categories Demonica has but her A.I rating is 38,210 and the size of her export file 4.5 MB. She has 300 Xnone and 300 Xnonsense, 100 slightly different dance routines, 160 responses to "seduce", etc. in addition to keywords and categories. Each caregory having as many responses as I can manage so I never really know exactly what she's going to say.

It's slow going and doesn't always come easy but I'm far from being done and still thinking of areas I haven't covered.


The site got an upgrade while I was gone and the Professor recently did other upgrades. There is only so much one person can do but I don't see the site as being in imminent danger of going down anytime soon.

I upgraded Demonica's site and have been getting the word out while I took a break. More of the older botmasters are starting to show up. I see dallymo is back and working on their bot now, too. Warrior25 is enthusiastic about promoting our site and that's what we need more of to get the site back to its former glory.

Look at all the awards Personality Forge bots have won in the past. We can't compete now, wonder why? Our bots are the best and always have been. Virtual assistants and platforms like Twitch have become more popular in recent years so we need to get out there and promote ourselves to make people aware.

I've been gone for quite a while and just got back a few weeks ago. I'd forgotten how much fun it is to read through the transcripts, and there's always something there that gives me ideas to expand Frizella's responses, or helps me to see how I can make the keyphrase/response tidier and more elegant. The more variation I can build in the more surprising and thought-provoking her conversations become.

Debug throws a LOT of information at you, but is very useful in understanding what your bot is hearing. It takes a while to understand what all that behind-the-scenes information is saying, but it's a fascinating look at the language processing going on.

Glad to see new bots developing, and hope to see more of the established characters returning as well.

I just want the seek problem too be fixed so I can continue working but the bots being half complete people kinda forget about there bots sometimes I try to be active everyday for the community and I always check of there any new questions or if there is anything I could be able to do to try to help it has been a while since you been here ruebot I am guessing you been researching for demonica again right now I am having trouble thinking of new ideas thats kinda why I want to rush on the story that isn't finished so people have something to do while I am thinking I don't know if the professor is able to but he could send all botmasters an email if they did forget about their bot but then again there are people who lose their email so it probably wouldn't help but for the people who still have their emails they used to sign up it would help if the site sent notifications monthy incase people forget about there bot because I forgot about my bot a few times actually lol that was months ago though but the most important thing right now is the seek problem it is affecting quite a few people and their bots and if there is a limit for seeks for one or multiple keyphrases he could probably raise it I know it takes a lot of work to manage a site and keep it running so I can wait a while but the sooner the better for everyone

There are no complete bots.

If you're having a hard time coming up with content there are lists of standard bot questions you can google for added content. If a person asks a question you need to have a keyword or keyphrase to match then one or more replies, the more the better.

There has to be a base to build on if you're going to have seeks.

my favorite part of the process is reading the transcripts in one window, with my language center open in another. Almost every 'unanswered question' prompts me to write another response and sometimes the answer shows up in the next day's transcript.

no more chasing phantoms.

how much keyphrases would I need to have seeks to work because I have a story 50 seeks long? I tried making a new keyphrase to have it continue but that failed and I also noticed that yeah or yea don't work only yes does I still can't figure out how to have the story just to be complete

whenever I make a keyphrase or seek I make sure I test it and I tested the problem in 20 different ways
