Hey guys, I wrote a very simple chatbot from scratch for a school project but I am required to find at least thirty people to talk to it and send me the results before Monday.
Would you do me the tremendous favor of downloading the program and following the instructions to help me with my project? It should only take about ten or fifteen minutes.

Jake1, how many weeks before Christmas 2013 did you know about that task?
And sorry, I'd never download anything executable from a random source on a productive machine, and I'm not sure if I'd run it on one of my virtual test machines either, no matter what.
Why didn't you offer your bot as a web service two weeks ago?

I know I should have started this sooner, but I'm trying to make up for time now. (I also didn't know I needed 30 participants, I thought I only needed about five.) Please read the following forum thread, where multiple users have confirmed the program's safety:

Hi all, we are running an operator-based SMS chat with about 600k incoming messages per month. Most of it is in English. It is mostly male users and our operators talk about entertainment and flirt issues.
I tested some of the bots on PersonalityForge but none of them can be uased as is. Some come close like Amanda20 but will still require customization.
Is there anybody that already has a fairly advanced bot that we could be used as a starting point and who would also be interested and has the time to customize it for us?
Please post replies here in the forum.
Thanks a lot in advance.

If it is below a certain development you can just delete it. If the bot is over that development (can't remember the exact number) you contact the Professor. He will delete the bot.

Hi, my seeks are being triggered by my bot from random set conversations. I thought seeks keyphrases are only triggered through ONLY the current conversation
For example, I have "blackmail" as a seek keyphrase in a separate conversation. If I randomly say blackmail some where else, my bot will respond to that as if the subject was changed. Why is this happening? Can I stop this from happening?

I am not sure I understand the problem Tester, but usually it's a matter of ranking a keyphrase. If you have one that is "are you" one that is 'are you (going|trying)' and one that is 'blackmail' you would normally rank the most specific ones higher than the others. You would want your bot to pick up "are you trying to blackmail me?' More that "are you". If the blackmail keyphrase is showing when you do not want it to. reduce the rank.

Okay, I'll adjust the rank to the corresponding keyphrase to the seek that has "blackmail" in it. Thanks Prob123!

Hey can anyone explain how to talk to Goddess Brenda I'm new at this and it want to know if it's an error in the programming or if the AI just hasn't learned enough yet?

Greg222, if you look at that bot's profile, you'll see its development level is only 2, and that it is very young. That means, chances are, it is not much more than a just created bot yet.
