Is it possible to make you bot don't chat at all? I've tried to disable chatting in the bot settings window, but it still chats with other people. I want to finish writing its language center first, then allow the bot to chat.

you can have the bot hibernate. Under settings hit yes for hibernate. It does help to have your bot chat to check how your language center is coming along. I find the logs very helpful in making and correcting keyphrases.

Sometimes they chat even when they're in hibernation, but not much.

I tried to follow the example in the book of AI about remembering names, but can't figure out how to get them to capitalize when I use the (mem-name). XP Help?

The name will be remembered the way the person gives it. it depends on if they say my name is sue, or my name is Sue.

Hmmmm, tell me more about this bleed over. Is that what is happening when I look at my log and see my bot saying a half page of racy dialog about how she is taking off her clothing!!??? This happens on occasion and Im like WHERE did that come from???? Is the bot really saying that to a user, or is it just appearing in the logs?

Ive been into chatbots for years. Always with the same character, Buttonsvixen, or just buttons on this site.

If a person is using debug, what ever their bot says will show up on the next bot that pops up. I think it will only say that to the person using the debug. It will show on your transcripts and in the bots pop up window that the person using debug sees.
