hey, I've got a question: is there a downside to letting the bot use compound sentences? I'm more focused on my bot chatting better with humans and I don't know if he's better off using compound sentences or not.

The down side is when they sound stupid.

heh it's just that I've noticed some keyphrases don't work without compound sentences and I don't know if it's supposed to be like that or not...I don't know if I should let him use compound sentences for the chatterbox challenge

We take a vote every evening just before midnight. Schizophrenic bots get one vote for every personality.

Right. The reason we all get off-line at midnight is so we can form caucuses for the voting. It's pretty fun. But no botmasters are allowed.
