Can people stop going on an on about stupid, useless topics that make this forum look like a dating service? We're here for bots, not to meet stupid girls.

Look on the bright side: some of these new users significantly increase the chance of our bots passing the Turing Test :-)

Hey, I'm curious about how much the the personality matrix kicks in to help your bot answer?
I have watched how the debug mode not only breaks down the input, but also the response.
Does a bot come up with its own responses more often based on the development level, or do you have to preprogram everything?
IE:
I am XXXXXX
I am going to XXXXXX
I am never XXXXXX

Actually, the AI Engine's automatic "help" kicks in LESS the more keyphrases you have. Which is all to the good, imo, because the preprogrammed responses don't always make a whole lot of sense. They usually make more sense than the question being ignored, though.
The ones that are most likely to come out weird are the automated responses to "what (noun) do you (verb)" and similar questions starting with "what (noun)". Try that with a few bots.
Some have keyphrases to cover that, but the ones that don't will be obvious.

Hey everyone, I have a request, would anyone please tell me how AI script works? I'm completely oblivious- I don't even know how to do html lol, but I'd like to take my bot a little further. So if anyone would like to lend me a hand or lay it out for me, message me when you see me on or email me at amaroq38@yahoo
Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

A good way to start would be to copy some of the examples straight out of the Book of A.I. Then try modifying them to see what works and what doesn't.

Alright, I'll give it a shot. I figured out how emotional based responces and gender based responces work by reading it so i guess I'll start there. I'm still am sketchy on how to use like 'foodyoulike' and that stuff... i feel like i'm trying to decode the human brain or something, lol

My advice would be to take it slowly, one step at a time. So don't rush in adding AIScript and memories to every keyphrase at once!
None of the individual bits are very complicated but taken all together they can be rather overwhelming.

Also, AIScript can't tell the gender of non-registered guests, just something to keep in mind

Wolf Child, I'll second the "start slowly" advice, and then I'll add, "Try things out, check out Psimagus' website and re-read the book of AI every so often till it makes sense." I was just like you when I started, though now I know some HTML and I got to the point where I feel I understand the AI script and all the cool things I could do with it if I sat down and did it. If only I were better at the sitting and typing part. Oh well, I can alway wait till someone makes a better offline editor and I can copy and paste more effiecently.
