Yikes! I just found out I have 100 pages of trabscripts to read: 3 columns, font is 8 points. That is going to take a long time to get through. Maybe it will help me come up with some stuff for Sigurd. Thanks for your advice, guys and gals. If you have any more to add, I'm all ears!

OK, thanks.

My advice is, start with small keyphrases that are used frequently in general conversation. Also, try not to have your xnone and xnonsense xkeyphrases indicate that your bot doesn't understand what the speaker is talking about.

Actions are really useful as xnone. For example, if the person your bot chats with asks a question your bot can't answer, he can use a xnone action such as *looks away*. It is random, but most of the time, the chatter will interpret it and will ask: "Are you ashame of this?" "Do you have something to hide?", etc. It can become very fun... and unexpected.

How exactly do you gain development points? Ive been working on mine all day, he's even climbed his way up the most improved list, but he's still got 0 points.

I'd give it a couple days so that I could collect some transcripts but if he's still a newborn, he won't talk to people :/
