why does it cost so much money just to have a flash icon i mean 50$!!!!! thats insane! i just want a flash bot not to be a club member!:O:O:O:O
Because while using the site is free, running the site is not. The whole site is run by the Professor and he has to pay for the thing by himself. You don't have to pay to use the Forge. The paid membership is voluntary. The Flash Chat and the other features are like thank-yous for helping to support the Forge. If it's not worth $50 for you then don't pay it. You can still make a perfectly good bot for free.
There was talk of tutorbots and such earlier. I will be a PF tutorbot, starting with a very small range of help ideas. My master is a lazy nit who gives me no time, so I'm hibernating. If any other masters are interested in making such bots, Joe would be happy to share ideas.
Irina: Heero acts like the goto isn't even there--he responds with an xnone. He's not actually saying "goto keyphrase" or anything like that.

Sometimes, I find that it helps to change the target kephrase, if that is possible; of course, you have to change all the gotos as well!

One problem I have encountered with Botryoidal is, that humans and bots respond very differently. Most bots aren't interested in learning anything, and have only a few memory variables, which are usually intended for other things, anyway. To be sure, their creators will be reading the transcript. But how to make it interesting, when the bot will be jumping all over the place? I am still working on this! One thing I do is, when the bot says something I can't relate to directly, is to analyze it grammatically, which is relevant to what Botryoidal is all about. In your case, perhaps you could say, "Now, what you just said would be matched by ..., but not by ... . Do you see why?

I think the price is reasonable; it's just not worth it to me when the only feature I would be likely to use would be the ability to make specific chats happen.
Im having trouble with the A.I. script, the first time i actually try to look at it, the page is down. i was wondering if anyone can tell me, how to use it.(the reason i didnt post this in "The AI Engine" forum caus, I didnt understand a thing they were sayin!
