hah - my bot ALLY got the closest there to a "norway", with 2 rankings of 1 and one of 0. oh well, theres always next year, and i'm working on a whole new approach to AI now, less statistical, and more neural network based.

Yeah. Maybe if we asked Wendell he'd tell us? Can't be classified information - the running total was there all month after all.
Why is Motbot up so high? I remember some here had the same when talking to him, he was doing really poor.
I have no idea. Motbot was rated really poorly by the judges. Maybe his creator has a lot of friends?

And Motbot? I haven't the slightest idea why someone should vote for him. The homepage of its programmer looks awful and his german is nearly as crappy as his english (although he tries hard to give an idea of professionality...). Hard to believe that this bot has fans. o.O
However. That's just the popularity-contest. So there's no real harm done. You all know how great your bots are.
And of course congratulations psimagus and FengShuiGorilla. I'll cross my fingers for the finals.

yes.i got the impression Motbot was rubbish,maybe he got lots of friends to vote for him or went in lots of internet cafes on different computers or diffrerent ids ,voting for himself alot of times?
