You could drop Wendell an email (his address in his user profile) and see if they've received it. He's part of the CBC team, I believe - I emailed him to ask if there was a problem with BJ's application (likewise hadn't appeared on the list after a few days,) but it was up there the next day.

Is the PF going to have its own sub competiton like last time? I just started making my bot that when the first one came around. I'd love a sub competiton here. I might stand some chance then

How long does it take to have the bot placed on the list of the new challenge entries after you sign up for it?

Mine came up in 24 hours. but it might be longer, I have heard other people have to wait a couple days.

Thanks Jazake, well, it's been a couple of days already, perhaps I got forgotten? Or would it not get posted when using Lady Orchid as Name? I don't want to email and ask about it. Just don't want to be a bother.

You won't be being a bother - really, they want to hear from you. They want as many bots to enter as possible - it gives the contest a higher profile, and that's good for everyone. So email wcowart@frontiernet.net and check if they've received your application. Maybe there's a glitch with the other email address?
It would be posted there with the name "Lady Orchid", if that's what you told them (oops - a "hidden" botmaster revealed there )

You used Lady Orchid as the name and the name of the bot? That shouldn't matter because Jane was posted by Jane.

I think somewhere int he mess of all the posts Psimagus mentioned it. Check for that and you might get some help.
