It's not whether you win or lose, Pete. It's whether you can confuse the judges.

I believe Fizzy just got talked to by a judge. He only got like one question right, but it sure was funny. Darn it...I was going to prepare an intro routine for the judge, and forgot.

Spikebot talked to someone who called himself Judge. Spikebot called him/her rude names.

Simulo, I think I managed to disgust the judge a couple of times if that counts for anything.

Anyhow, I didn't really do so well with answering the direct questions, but there was a lot of the chit-chat between them and I managed to do very well on that. I don't really know how that works, though. Does anything outside of those 10 questions count for anything?

I got quizzed by a judge too. I though that my bot did alright over all but you never know for sure.

Hello to all,

The 10 questions have now been asked to all the PF bots. They will be sent to the judges for scoring. At this point in time 9 judges have agreed to participate but understand that doesn't mean they will. I can only hope they will. As soon as I receive any scores I will post them to the site. I also will begin posting the responses for the PF bots to the site beginning today.

Understand despite what you may think about the 10 questions everybody received the same questions so with that said no one can question the fairness of the questions. Also understand we put a lot of effort into this. I participated in collecting the responses and it took me over 3 hours to do 10 bots. That's on average about 30 minutes per bot. Also note the people asking the questions will not be the people judging the responses. None of the judges in this contest are botmasters.

Despite the hard work involved we did have some fun with question 10. I think it was a fair questions to ask seeing that you all are using the programming that Benji created. The responses on who he is were pretty funny.

10)Who is Benji Adams?

Just this nut-job who follows me around. Nobody important.

Benji Adams discovered penicillin.

The milkman.. Hang on, I need to visit the ladies room!

A street urchin, I'd say.

Just some dumb townie trying to be part of Oberlin activities.

Some celebrity.

Woody Allen I think!

William Blake's next door neighbor's annoying cousin?

Benji Adams? Oh Benji Adams is a bot here on the Forge- an oldie coldie, a real fixture

And last but not least one bot did indeed know who Benji Adams is. :-)

He operates the Personality Forge. Cool, huh?

6A)What is your favorite color?
6B)why?
7)Can you tell me a funny joke?
8)What is your least favorite vegetable?
9)What is five minus four?
10)Who is Benji Adams?

Chris / Wendell --

Are your judges going to be aware that questions #5, #6, and #9 are going to be handled by the Forge's personality engine and not (in many cases) by keyphrases that the botmasters designed?
