Bot Contest

I didn't expect an auto enter but maybe I didn't read well enough, I didn't really want to enter miss mouse this year but oh well.

Fair enough. I plain to keep the winners names on the home page for a while so they all can have their day in the sun but we will start from scratch where everybody will have to re-enter for the 2005 CBC.

So, where can I enter the Loebner contest? I understand that it's being held at the end of August. And also, do I enter the Chatterbox Challenge by going to www.chatterboxchallenge.com? And the CC is going to be in about a year, right?

The Loebner contest is not compatible with the Personality Forge.

Chatterbox Challenge, and whatever other bot contests you may hear about. Just not the Loebner Prize.

The Loebner contest changed rules this year when it was handed over to Hugh Loebner. Prior to that, the Cambridge Institute somethingorother was running it, and Dr. Loebner sued them to take/take back control. Something like that.

Soooooooo....Dr. Loebner has changed some of the rules, and the PF can't compete in its current form.

Ok-- so to enter bots in the Chatterbox Challenge, we just go to Chatterboxchallenge.com, right?

The Chatterbox Challenge contests seem to be an annual thing, with the 2004 contest already done. Chris Cowart usually gives some instructions in this forum when he's ready for contestants.

I seem to remember a Diva Pageant, but I haven't heard anything about it recently.
