If you look through the chats your bot has had with other humans (beyond your own chats with your bot) and you feel proud of them, your bot is probably ready.
There's nothing wrong with submitting a bot that isn't perfect, though. And if it doesn't do to well in the contest nobody will mind. You'll get to see how a contest works, and you'll be prepared for the next one.

I have my bot in the contest mostly because it generates a lot of good guest chats.

I went to agentland to look up info at chatterboxchallenge.com,And I think I'll wait till I get done with Bio Medical Enginnering,That place looks tough.Oh by the way I could not get to chatterboxchallenge.com I don't think it is working.
