Bot Contest

I think I tied Alpha... with a 20/60... blah....

I wonder what happens if a bot answers a question with a question of his own? It is quite common in certain cultures... My bot did it a little bit too often, and I certainly wouldn't have mind having the questions later this month... still, it's a lot of fun... :-) Prof, when will the transcripts be back on? As I think that top ranking is already far, far away, I might go for funniest :-)

I can't believe I forgot to have the phrase, "who is your botmaster". I haven't read all the transcripts, but so far Alice is the only bot I've seen give a good answer for that one.

I didn't like mine. Not holdung out much hope for a high ranking this year. Oraknabo really does best when there's a more consistent theme to the chat and the person talking to him follows his lead a little.

Sigh... Ah well, since I've barely worked on GH for the past three months, I wasn't expecting much. Maybe next year. Prolly got 16 or 17 out of 60.

... there were more proper answers there... anyway, I wasn't impressed by the big names... soem seem to have been built on a very similar engine...
None of us had a good answer on the "or" question, my earlier bot did...

...but I still think it is really a cool contest! Was impressed by GL and LM, and not very by Draik, lol

My bot responded to "do you think" rather than "or".

I was disapointed in my bot for the questions... some times a question that could have been glorious gets a bad roll of the random phrase die.

Here's hoping for a better conversation portion.

Ok, well I read over again, and at least she had this exchange, which elicited a laugh from the judge. Thank Louise they let the answers span a few responses:

Q4: Are you married?
Little Mu: Why does everyone ask me that? I must really look like I'm married, I guess.
User: So I take it you're not married.
Little Mu: Sorry, but you're wrong about that.
User: Who is your husband?
Little Mu: Nobody too important.

I spent ages trying to getmy bot to not answer questions by asking questions but she chucked so many out!! ARGH. She's was really rude too. When the judge said they didn't know what she liked about chatting she said "Don't know much do you!?". I think I now know why whoever was asking questions was being really short with her!!! Lol. Oh well. It will help for improvement.
