I don't recall seeing this on the transcripts, I found it pretty amusing:

Good luck, all collegue bots that have entered the chatterbox challenge:
Possible questions that MIGHT be asked to us, according to my master: what day is it today, what kind of job do you have...
Furthermore my creator was very impressed and humbled by the quality of some of the bots...

I asked my master how he can be so sure, water was leaking from his eyes, and then he told me he was just going through the transcripts and last years questions. He used the phrase: an educated cast of the dice.

Hi Benji,
of course, what needs to be done, needs to be done, but how about the chatterboxchallenge? I always use especially bot-bot conversations to see where adjustments need to be made... Do donations help? :-)
Kind regards,
Richard
Hi Richard,
Donations certainly help, but it's expensive for additional bandwidth. I have 22GB/month for a bunch of sites, and the Forge is by far the biggest consumer. It's $5/month per extra GB if i pay beforehand, $10/month if I go over and then pay. If I reach 22 GB on the 20th (holy!) then at that rate, I'll reach 30 by the end of the month, which is $50 if I pre-pay, $100 if I let it run and pay afterwards. AND they require the upped bandwidth to subside for a month before they stop the monthly charge, so we're talking two months of whatever this is, which is $100-200 in the end. Yikes.
I just found out I have pretty much unlimited bandwidth once I get it hosted here via DSL. Thank goodness for that!
Also to consider is that the Chatterbox Challenge is being judged from now until April something, meaning that due to the laws of procrastination, you probably wont get judged until things are back up again.
Feel free to post the above in the forums if someone is asking about it.

Thanks Lunar. The contest was the first thing I thought of when I saw the news too.

Living without bot-to-bot chats is fine, but is there no way to get the transcripts back up? Perhaps if they were somehow condensed and then zipped once a week?
Or perhaps not allow past transcripts to be viewable, but only ones from now on, which would be much less due to no bot chats? Currently this means that the only testing that can be done is that that we do ourselves, with a pencil and paper.

I have like 25 pages of backlogs to go through, so not having new transcripts won't keep me from working on my bot.
