Kidding aside. *is impressed with Zork* ;D

I remember being about 4 and wandering away from my mom in the mall to go to the arcade. There were some b/w video games (Omega Race was one, I think--I learned to read early) and a really cool mechanical game with a helicopter flying around over a tiny landscape, under plexiglass.

My family had an Atari game system... Pitfall, the original Donkey Kong, Space Invaders... Then our first computer was a Tandy. I don't remember how much memory it had, but it was probably in the neighborhood of 64k.

I had a Commodore 128 from when I was 12 to when I was 15 or 16.

I have an Atari Jaguar hidden away somewhere in my closet - it was the last game system that Atari manufactured, and was a 64 bit system.

Oh, you can't slaughter me. I'm not actually in the bar; I'm just typing messages on a message board.

The oldest thing I have is an IBM 8088, currently doing time in my closet. What I like best about it is there's a fully functioning 20MB 5 1/4" double height hard drive that's only two years younger than me.

Ah, the wonders of garage sales. I knew I had to have it! ;P (It was all of $5 about nine years ago)
