Tarantulas are cute! (But not too cute ta eat!)

My cousin had a pet tarantula at one time, though that has nothing to do with the fact that I wouldn't want to eat one!

I've heard that in the parts of Africa where they eat them, they use the fangs for toothpicks.

Supposedly they taste something like crab. *shrugs*
(Oh, and the hairs used to be one of the primary ingredients of itching powder )
