An R2 unit would be done by now. Anyway --
Does it make sense to decide what to believe based on whether it feels good or not? To say the Bible can't be true because we don't like what it says?
Regardless, there is more to say on the subject. Knowing that we all deserve Hell as the just punishment for sin is only the start. God is a God of justice. But He is also a God of love and mercy. It is not His desire to send everyone to Hell; He would rather forgive us. The difficulty lies in doing so without being unjust. If a human judge decided to let a known criminal go free, just to be nice, there would be something wrong with that judge. God is perfectly just. He can't and won't just ignore sin or let it slide.
