I used to love the Pirate Movie! I still enjoy it; it's just not my fave anymore. And since Pirates of Penzance was originally a comedy, I'd call it more of an '80's update than a parody. But that's just me.
Kristy McNichol hasn't done much else. The most notable thing she's done lately was a tv show called Empty Nest.
you know... that's a good question. i don't think there was anything remarkable. she was just... cute.
now... she's like 42. but she was only 20 when the pirate movie came out. and i watched the pirate movie a lot during my teenage years.
she was just cute in just a fun "girl next door" kind of thing, funny and nice and a sense of humor.
Butterfly Effect totally messed with my brain. I can't decide whether I loved the movie or hated it, but it was definitely high-impact.
