Any warmer during the summers in Atlanta and I'll melt! I miss snow a little, but the plan is to go to Minneapolis during the holidays. I'll have all the snow I want.

Here in coastal BC during a really severe winter we can sit on the beach in our T-shirts and look UP at the snow on the mountains.

And excruciatingly white too!
I've lived in Vancouver many years, and the 6 months of deep dark rain was just too much for me. If you're gonna' hibernate, it might as well be bright out for the few hours of sun a day.
I miss the mountains though.

Sounds beautiful.. in the dark winter, do you find yourself more often on the web?

Since discovering The Personality Forge I've spent most of my life on the web. Is there an outside?

Yah, it looks sort of like that orange/yellow at the top when the "sun" is going down.
The sun is sort of like the electricity that lights up your computer screen.

Other times, when the sun has already set, it looks kind of like your monitor when your OS crashes and you have to reboot. We call that "dark" and it usually happens at "night".

Actually, often on your computer you'll find words and terms that are used to describe various aspects of the "outside" world. Terms such as hierarchical "trees", "congestion/traffic", "shopping carts", "shortcuts" and "engines" all existed way before computers did. In fact, not many people realize this, but the term "menu" is sometimes used to describe this kind of printed list of food items that people would choose from in restaurants (remember restaurants? Back when we ate, before the forge).

Oh my god, you're right- my grampa used to go on and on about how the menus these days didnt have food on them, and I always wondered why you wouldnt just wipe the food off your monitor and continue your selection.
